Fishing season

Trout season opens end of April until mid-September. Bass, Pike and Musky season opens mid-June until end of November.  Other sportfish season may be open all year.  We do not target species out of season and  mandatory release applies off season.

Special regulations
Mandatory release of all Lake Trout on our Tremblant Lake Adventures. Certain sectors of the Diable River are flyfishing only waters.  Your guide will be familiar with all special regulations applicable on our waters.

We practice Catch and Release

NaturAventur is the proud sponsor of the Catch & Release Program on the Diable River.  We encourage all our clients to experience the pleasure of catching and the satisfaction of releasing all sportfish caught during their adventures.  Releasing fish is mandatory in some instances.

Fishing conditions

Our proprietary DIABLE RIVER FISHING INDEX (DRFI) complements our fishing condition forecasts to help you better plan your fishing adventure. Factors that determine the DRFI include river flow levels, water temperature, weather forecasts, insect hatches and fish activity.
